Meet Dr. Briana

Dr. Briana Woods-Jaeger, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor of behavioral, social, and health education sciences at Emory University. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University and her doctorate degree in child clinical psychology from the University of Washington. Dr. Woods-Jaeger specializes in supporting clients dealing with traumatic stress, grief, and anxiety. She employs a collaborative, supportive approach to assessment and therapy focused on providing her clients with the skills and support they need to reach their goals and live authentically according to their values. She applies her expertise in cultural humility, dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and holistic healing practices to provide culturally-responsive, evidence-based treatment, training, and consultation.
